Finopaque
PVC sheets are rigid, tough
and opaque. They are ideal for use in industries.Finopaque
is chemical resistant. It is ideal for chemical process
industries and laboratories. Can also be used in lining
of industrial storage tanks. It resists mineral acids, alkalis,
plating solutions, paper -making chemicals and other inorganic
solutions and fumes. The sheet also resists alcohols, aliphatic
hydrocarbons, glycols, amines and phenols.
|
|
Resistant to corrosive environments, Finopaque
can
be used in coastal areas. It has excellent electrical
and thermal insulating properties. It is also easy to
work with and install.The
sheets exhibit high impact strength and are ideal
for heavy-duty industrial applications.Finopaque
complies with international standards and is
available in white, light grey and dark grey colour .Standard
size = 1.22 x 2.44 mtr.

Sawing
|
For both band saws and circular
saws use blades with a minimum tooth set, and about
eight to ten teeth per inch. Prevent overheating by
applying excess pressure on blade.
|
|
Machining
|
Use low machining speeds for turning
and shaping and to assure easy removal of machining
chips.
|
|
Thermoforming
|
Between 130°C - 140°C
(266° - 284°F) Finoram sheets become formable
and can then be formed, pressed moulded or blow
formed.
|
|
Drilling
|
Use conventional drills but make
certain to remove drill chips in order to avoid overheating
of the sheet.
|
|
Bonding
|
Finoram sheets can be bonded with
conventional solvent based P.V.C. adhesives.
|
|
Welding
|
Finoram sheets can be welded by
the hot-air welding process conventionally used for
P.V.C.
